Metro Redux, a compilation of Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light enhanced and updated for next-gen systems and PC, will run at 1080p on PS4, but only 900p on Xbox One, Deep Silver brand manager Huw Beynon has told Polygon.

Beynon also confirmed that both versions will run at 60 frames per second.

Yesterday’s announcement revealed the two games would offer “new and improved content and features”, including new ‘Check Watch’ and ‘Check Inventory’ options. Last Light will also include all its DLC content.

Metro 2033 has been rebuilt using 4A Games’ latest internal game engine, which will bring “all the graphical and gameplay improvements from Last Light to Metro 2033 Redux”.

Beynon told Polygon that the PC edition of Metro 2033 Redux will perform better on lower spec PCs thanks to a new lighting system.

As well as being sold together at retail for £34.99, the two titles will also be available individually from the Xbox One Games Store and PlayStation Store for £15.99 each.
