Metro Redux, the retail compilation of enhanced versions of Metro 2033 and Metro Last Light, will hit stores in Europe on August 29, Deep Silver has announced.

Metro 2033 has been rebuilt using 4A Games’ latest internal game engine, which will promises to bring “all the graphical and gameplay improvements from Last Light to Metro 2033 Redux”.

The PS4 game will render in 1080p, whilst Xbox One gamers must settle for 900p. Both versions will run at 60 frames per second.

Both campaigns can be tackled in ‘Spartan’ or ‘Survival’ play styles, and the Ranger Mode is also included in both games.
