Speaking during the PSM Podcast, Kojima Productions Associate Producer Ryan Payton spoke about the possibilities of a MGS Portable Ops sequel, noting: “Just on a personal level that’s something I really, really want to do.“
However, despite his personal feelings towards the game, the cold hard truth is that if the first game doesn’t sell well, the chances of seeing a sequel will be heavily reduced.
“If it’s successful on the retail level there will definitely be a sequel,” said Payton.
There you go then, if you want a sequel you’ll have to go and buy a copy of the first game. Obviously we can’t do that in Europe just yet, with the game still to receive a release date, let alone make it to store shelves.
