Konami has released new PS4 gameplay footage of Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain and confirmed that the game will launch during 2015.

The 20 minute demo, which was revealed by director Hideo Kojima at TGS, shows off Snake and sniper Quiet as they sneak through a jungle area and climb up rock faces.

Quiet also seems to be assist Snake throughout the mission, providing overwatch and cover fire. Dynamic weather is shown off, too, with rain starting to fall throughout the forest partway through the mission.

Eurogamer reports that a 2015 release was confirmed by Kojima partway through the demo, although a more specific date has not been confirmed.

A new trailer was released by Konami, too, but unless you have a grasp of Japanese, don’t expect to be able to tell what’s going on.

Expect much more on The Phantom Pain in the run up to launch next year.
