The patch adding trophy support and full installation support to Metal Gear Solid 4 will launch on August 6, Kojima Productions has announced.

That’s next Monday.

The patch adds 34 trophies to Hideo Kojima’s 4-year old espionage game, and includes the ability to fully install the game, removing the frustrating installs between chapters.

Kojima Productions is currently developing Metal Gear Solid 5. In July, Kojima revealed that he would be demonstrating a first look at his next-gen engine, Fox Engine, later this month.
