Sea of Solitude, the third person adventure-puzzle game from studio Jo-Mei games, is out today as part of EA's EA Originals programme, and as such the publisher has put out a stylish launch trailer for the title.

Soundtracked to artist-of-the-moment Billie Ellish, the trailer – embedded below – gives us a glimpse of protagonist Kay's journey as she tries to find out what's caused her to turn into a monster and abandoned her in a boat in the middle of a flooded landscape. It's set to explore the themes of loneliness and isolation through environmental puzzling and the metaphor of the constantly changing world and its monsters.

Sea of Solitude is out now for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
