We learnt that Far Cry 5 was set in Hope County, Montana, and now we know more of the plot details. In Far Cry 5 you play the new junior deputy of the county, and end up facing up against a doomsday cult.
The Project at Eden’s Gate end up accelerating their planned coup, and take over the county with violence. The player will team up with residents of Hope County to form the resistance. Ubisoft has made three short vignettes to introduce some of the resistance characters.
Mary May is the proprietor of a family bar hilarious named the Spread Eagle, Nick Rye is a pilot and an expectant father, and Jerome Jeffries is Hope County’s Pastor.
