Medal of Hono(u)r: Warfighter, EA’s big-budget and bombastic first-person shooter for 2012, will be released on Tuesday October 23 in both Europe and the US.
A leaked teaser trailer confirms the release date.
Warfighter is a sequel to 2010’s Medal of Honor, which was developed by both Danger Close and DICE. This year’s instalment, however, is being handled exclusively by Danger Close, with the studio now stepping up to provide its own multiplayer component. It’s also being built entirely in the Frostbite 2 engine.
The leaked trailer has the requisite number of guns, explosions and implied peril to sufficiently indicate it will be an expensive-looking military shooting game.
