WW2 shooter Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault is to be given away free on Origin, EA has announced.

The game will be given away as part of EA’s ‘On The House’ range, although an exact date for when it will be available has yet to be confirmed. It would usually set you back £7.99.

On The House is separate to Origin Access, of course, and does not require a subscription to use. To grab it, all you’ll need is an Origin account.

Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault launched on PC back in 2004, two years after the critically-acclaimed Medal of Honor: Allied Assault. The game was developed by EA LA (later renamed Danger Close Games) and puts players in control of a US Marine sent to the Pacific Theater.

The franchise was put on hiatus back in 2013, shortly after the release of Medal of Honor: Warfighter. Danger Close was later closed.
