Revealed prior to E3, but not shown at last week’s expo, Max Payne 3 is scheduled for release this winter, but Rockstar’s been very quiet about the title.
The wait for solid info appears to be over though, thanks to a 10-page exclusive on the game in the upcoming issue of Game Informer.
Kotaku reports that the third game in the series will see a balder and more heavily bearded Max heading to Sao Paulo, Brazil. The game is set more than a decade after events of the second game and will retain the series trademark bullet-time action. It’s also rumoured that there’ll be a multiplayer mode of sorts.
Max Payne 3 is scheduled for release on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC in winter 2009.
