Konami has today outlined what it is calling “significant advances” to the Master League game mode found in its upcoming football simulation, PES 2010.

In this year’s game the Master League mode will be split into three main areas: Club House, Stadium Walk, and Office. Each of these features a different part of the manager’s role. Club House is used for tactical and match day options, Stadium Walk for main game settings, and Office for scouting and player acquisition dealings.

The Club House element will also feature an all-new Youth Team section, which works alongside the first team squad. As the game progresses, players can opt to invest in talented members of their youth team to fast-track their development. Any talent can then be introduced into the first team.

In the Office area players will carry out all the transfer and financial dealing, with real currency now used and additional monetary routes available. Sponsorships can now be negotiated, with big money deals that can be used to invest in the team and youth set-up. Results on the pitch affect the direct value of the club to interested parties.

PES 2010 is scheduled for release this autumn for Wii, PS3, Xbox 360, PC, PSP and PS2.
