The next free Marvel Rivals skin will be for Star-Lord, a popular Duelist. The member of Guardians of the Galaxy will get his free cosmetic through Twitch Drops. In addition to this, he will receive a couple of other cosmetic items, including an emote and a nameplate. Unfortunately, the skin is very disappointing and looks nothing like Twitch skins.
This will be the third free skin for Star-Lord in Marvel Rivals, yet undoubtedly the most underwhelming one. It’s another recolor, which is quite disappointing. However, what makes it even worse is that it doesn’t follow the same color scheme that other Twitch Drops had in the past.
The upcoming free skin for Star-Lord is very disappointing
Starting on August 10, Marvel Rivals players will be able to unlock the free Star-Lord skin on Twitch. The skin will be available for four weeks, giving everyone more than enough time to unlock it. Once again, unlocking the skin requires watching four hours of eligible streams.

As seen above, the upcoming free skin looks very similar to the default skin of the hero. It feels that its only redeeming quality is that it’s free.
The current Twitch Drop is a free Hawkeye skin, which expires on August 8. In addition to it, Star-Lord’s Jovial Star skin can also be unlocked for free by completing Heroic Journey achievements.
