Marvel Rivals has been out for over eight months and has attracted millions of players. The game is now in Season 3.5, with another season scheduled for September. According to a recent post by NetEase, the new season may bring cross-progression. Considering that the community has asked for this for a long time, this would undoubtedly be a fantastic move by the game developer.
The addition of this much-needed Marvel Rivals feature hasn’t been confirmed yet. However, you can make a difference by letting NetEase know that you want it. With Season 4 dropping on September 12, you have four weeks to let the company know your opinion.
Is cross-progression coming to Marvel Rivals?
At the moment, Marvel Rivals does not have cross-progression. Even though the game is available on both current-gen consoles and PC, it’s impossible to share progress between them. This means that if you unlock a cool skin on your PC, you won’t be able to use it on your PlayStation. Furthermore, your stats and rank won’t transfer either.
Earlier this month, NetEase kicked off the Ask the Devs event on the Marvel Rivals Discord server. The debut topic is cross-progression, and players have until Friday, August 22, to share their suggestions and thoughts.
If you’d like to share your thoughts regarding cross-progression or any other feature, you need to do the following:
- Join the Marvel Rivals Discord server
- Head to #suggestion-submit channel
- Use /suggest command
- Tag it with the [Social Features] tag
- Add as many details as possible
It’s important to note that this is not the same as crossplay, which allows players from different platforms to play together. The game already has crossplay, although it is not available in the ranked mode.
While waiting for cross-progression in Marvel Rivals, make sure to enter the new community event for a chance to win 8000 Units. You can also unlock a free Mantis skin throughout Season 3.5.
