Over the past nine months, Marvel Rivals has released dozens of free skins. Some of them were available in seasonal passes, while others were obtainable through events or as Twitch Drops. NetEase also added Costume Coins, a currency used to pick among more than 30 skins that are available in the store.

How to get a free skin in Marvel Rivals with a Costume Coin?
The latest Marvel Rivals update arrived on Thursday, September 25. The update added a new map, alongside another event. The event, which is called Shou-Lao’s Blessing, runs for two weeks in total. During this period, you can unlock a variety of rewards, including a free skin.
Shou-Lao’s Blessing offers 500 Units, 500 Unstable Molecules, and a Costume Coin. In other words, besides a free costume, you can also get extra Units to potentially afford another skin, as well as recolors.
To unlock these rewards, you simply need to play the game and complete event tasks. These tasks can be completed in any mode, including Quick Play and Practice vs. AI, which makes this one of the easiest ways to unlock a free skin in Marvel Rivals.
While the event is straightforward, it’s important to note that it lasts for a limited time. It’s scheduled to end on the last day of Season 4, giving you approximately two weeks to unlock all the rewards. Besides that, you can also unlock free skins for The Thing and Iron Man.
