Deadpool has arrived in Marvel Rivals Season 6, and he didn’t even wait for the patch to finish installing before breaking the fourth wall. While we are still waiting for the official release of the season, some content creators have already had an opportunity to play with the Merc with a Mouth.

The new Marvel Rivals character has dozens of voice lines and frequent interactions with other heroes. However, one line that sticks out is his reference to Batman, a DC hero. Deadpool hints at Batman during his interaction with Moon Knight, which is quite hilarious.

The latest Marvel Rivals update subtly hints at Batman

The hint occurs during a pre-match interaction between Deadpool and Moon Knight. Moon Knight, often compared to Batman due to his cape and gadgets, gets roasted by the Merc with a Mouth.

Deadpool tells Moon Knight that he reminds him of someone with a “sweet cape, fancy gadgets, grim demeanor, and long pointy ears,” which is an obvious reference to Bruce Wayne’s alter ego. Moon Knight believes that the person Deadpool is referring to is just a “cheap knock-off,” which prompts a sarcastic response from Wade Wilson.

While some Marvel Rivals fans are hoping this hints at a historic crossover, the reality is likely just Wade Wilson doing what he does best, which is trolling. Batman is owned by Warner Bros, and DC Comics competes with Marvel in almost every medium. In fact, DC is reportedly working on its own competitor to Marvel Rivals.

The addition of Batman in Marvel Rivals would be quite odd, but also great. However, we will need to wait for a long time for the Caped Crusader to come to the hero shooter, as his original version enters the public domain in 2034. Even then, NetEase would face many obstacles in adding him to the game.
