The voice actor behind Super Mario has received a Guiness World Record for recording the biggest number of video game voiceover performances as the same character.

Charles Martinet has provided the voice of Nintendo's portly mascot more than 100 times, with his latest effort being Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Martinet has voiced Mazza since 1992's Mario Teaches Typing, although he also appeared at various trade shows playing the character since 1990.

In addition, he also worked his magic to bring Luigi, Wario, Waluigi, Baby Mario, and Baby Luigi to life across various games.
