Nintendo has confirmed that Mario Tennis Aces will be getting a time-limited demo early next month.

Switch owners can take to the court from June 2-4 for a 'pre-launch tournament,' where you'll be able to hop into the role of Mario, Peach, Yoshi, and Bowser. However, additional characters can also be unlocked over the weekend period while the demo is live.

Mario Tennis Aces demo users will bag a classic outfit for Mario to be unlocked in the full game, too.

Ninty is also using the demo as a chance to test out the bandwidth for its online services, so everyone's a winner.

The plucky plumber's latest sports outing does pretty much what it says on the tin, though developer Camelot is introducing a bunch of new features into the mix. There's the Zone Shot, which is used with the Joy-Con's motion controls, plus the chance to compete in online matches among other additions.

Mario Tennis Aces will launch exclusively for Switch on June 22. Pre-order for a chance to bag your own Mario or Luigi visor. You know you want one.
