The city-building Manor Lords is set to launch later this week on PC via Steam, Epic Games, GOG, and on PC Game Pass, as well as Xbox One and Xbox Series X. After the demo was first released in 2022, players have been eagerly awaiting the full release for two years, and it is set to release in early access on April 26th.

Ahead of its release, Manor Lords has broken an impressive Steam record and milestone. The game is now the most wishlisted game on the platform’s history with over 3 million accounts wishlisting the game. This isn’t surprising as it has been a highly anticipated game since the first demo in 2022 where it surpassed over 500,000 wishlists without a release date.

Following the announcement of its 2024 release date, Manor Lords quickly reached the 2 million milestone before hitting 2.5 million during its marketing campaign. As Manor Lords edges closer to release, a recent press release has announced that the game has reached 3 million wishlists, making it the most wishlisted game of all time on Steam. If you want to wishlist it yourself, you can do so by going to the Manor Lords Steam page.

If you’ve never heard of Manor Lords before it would be understandable, as this is the first major release from Polish development studio Slavic Magic, whose owner Greg Styczeń has largely worked as a solo developer in the past. The game will be released by Hooded Horse, who is primarily known for releasing strategy and base-building games.

City-building games can be difficult to get to grips with initially as there are many different mechanics to learn and understand. Don’t worry though, we’ve put together a Manor Lords beginner tips and tricks guide that we highly recommend checking out so you can start off building a great city rather than fixing your early mistakes early on.
