Manhunt created quite a stir with its gratuitous violence but this hasn’t prevented Rockstar from returning for more stealth kills and chilling suspense. The first game was released on PlayStation 2, Xbox and PC, and this time around Rockstar has dropped the PC and Xbox in favour of the PSP and Wii.

At this time there’s very little info on the game to pass on, with Rockstar being their usual quiet selves. We do know that the newly formed Rockstar London will be handling development of the PS2 and PSP versions in conjunction with Rockstar North. The Wii game gets it own development team over at Rockstar Toronto.

Sam Houser, founder and executive producer of Rockstar Games says they “have tried to create a game that stays close to the original concept of chilling suspense and stealth, whilst pushing the game design and storytelling forward.“

Expect more details on Manhunt 2 soon, with the game set for release in the summer.
