Supermassive Games has issued another behind the scenes look at Man of Medan, the inaugural chapter in its Dark Pictures Anthology slated for release on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One.

The second dev diary offers a look at how the studio created the game's choppy oceans, which obviously play a key role seeing as how much of the game is set on a spooky ghost ship. Part of this involved heading out on a small fishing boat and recording various sound effects, such as wind, waves, and more. The results seem impressive, too.

Man of Medan is scheduled for release in summer 2019, and involves a group of teens investigating the wreck of a World War II ship in the South Pacific. Much like Until Dawn, it'll be heavy on player choice, so you'll have to be careful when making decisions if you want everyone to survive.
