Xbox mouthpiece Major Nelson has confirmed that Fight Night Champion has joined Xbox One's backwards compatibility lineup.

Those of you who own the 2011 Xbox 360 brawler can now pop your disc into the Xbox One and begin playing, while digital copies will appear in the Ready to Download section of the console for you to grab.

Don't own Fight Night Champion? Then head over to the Xbox Store and drop £19.99 to snag a digital copy.

VideoGamer thought Fight Night Champion was a pretty decent brawler, and back in the day looked pretty damn impressive with all its sweaty, rippling muscles and what-not. The Champion mode, while short, also proved a decent time sink.

Microsoft recently confirmed that players have notched up nearly one billion hours playing Xbox One backwards compatibility games, proving people do indeed love a good bit of nostalgia.
