Magical multiplayer battle royale game Spellbreak is heading to the PlayStation 4 with a closed beta set for Spring in 2020, developer Proletariat has announced.

The game – which is currently in closed beta on PC – will see you playing as a battlemage, and you'll be able to dual wield magical gauntlets that are imbued with the power of various elements, which you can combine to make your own spell combinations to attack your foes or aid traversal.

The game even promises quests and plenty of 'ongoing content' to ensure that it doesn't remain static as the game goes on. There's no firm release date yet, but the closed beta is set to kick off on PlayStation 4 sometime in 'Spring 2020'. Check out a trailer for Spellbreak below.
