After a wildly entertaining Week 1 of NFL football, Madden 23 has returned with its second round of Team Of The Week (TOTW) specials today that fans can add to their Madden Ultimate Team (MUT) collections, and there’s a lot of bright new cards to be excited about.

Similarly to that of last week, MUT added 10 new players that gamers will be able to acquire for their teams. Madden 23 makes a handful of announcements every game week and this is arguably the most popular, considering most of the new players they come up with are based on who did well the previous week in the NFL.

The Week 1 TOTW was revealed today at 10:30AM ET on the EA Sports Madden 23 Twitch Stream, ‘Good Morning Madden’. In case you missed the live stream, here’s a look at all the new MUT TOTW Week 1 players available in Madden 23.

        Player Of The Week (90 Overall)

        New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley was named the Week 1 Player of the Week for Madden 23’s TOTW Program following a monster rushing performance while securing the game-winning two point conversion as well.

        On 18 rush attempts, Barkley ran for 164 yards and one touchdown. If it wasn’t for his heroics, the Giants would have surely lost their matchup to the Tennessee Titans.

        Limited Edition (90 Overall)

        Pittsburgh Steelers middle linebacker Myles Jack was announced as the Madden 23 Limited Edition (LTD) player of the Week 1 TOTW Program.

        In a big 23-20 overtime win against the Cincinnati Bengals, Jack wreaked havoc any which way he could and had himself 10 total tackles and one pass defended.

        Madden 23: New Field Pass Reward

        In case you missed it on Sunday, Madden 23 did announce that it would be including an 89 overall Courtland Sutton wide receiver card to its Competitive Field Pass collection.

        In order to unlock this Sutton card, you have to reach Level 22 of the Competitive Field Pass Program.
