Isometric adventure Lumo is getting a physical release on PS4 and PS Vita on September 9, publisher Rising Star Games has announced. The game made its debut as a digital release last month.

“Lumo is a very special game to us,” said Rising Star’s managing director Martin Defries. “Having nurtured the project along its development journey and working so closely with the extreme creative talent at Triple Eh?, it is a game we wholeheartedly believe in and a game we want to continue to bring to as wide an audience as possible.”

A physical PS Vita release is only planned for Europe, however, with North American fans limited to the PS4 version. The game will be priced £19.99, £5 more than the current price of its digital edition.

Tom called Lumo a “sweet and twee” puzzle adventure in his review last month, awarding the game a 7/10 in his review.

“Lumo could have easily been another retro inspired title that did little other than revel in old-school visuals,” he said. “If anything, the reverse is true here. While visually a little unappealing, the isometric adventure and platforming gameplay are great, with a smattering of hair-pulling moments not enough to irrevocably damage what is a lovely trip down memory lane.”
