As promised late last year, Capcom has released a patch for its action title Lost Planet on the Xbox 360. When you load up the game you’ll be asked to download a patch which updates the game with a number of changes. These came about as a result of user feedback on the game’s online multiplayer demo which hit Xbox Live Marketplace towards the back end of 2006.

The most notable changes are to the lobby and matchmaking system, and in particular the ability to continue playing matches with the same group of people if the host wants to keep playing. In the demo, players were kicked out to the main menu once a game was completed.

You can read up on the full list of changes by checking out last year’s Lost Planet news. Check back tomorrow for Pro-G’s Lost Planet: Extreme Condition review.
