Lord of the Rings Online will be introducing its newest zone, the Great River, in Update 6: Shores of the Great River.
According to a recent developer diary, the free-to-play MMO will also introduce a new reputation faction and elite area, as well as a new set of quest rewards.
The Great River is described as the home to the very first Rohirrim settlement, Stangard. The region features 200 quests and is free for VIP users.

The MMO’s next major expansion, Lord of the Rings Online: Riders of the Storm is due out August 2012.
