Grasshopper Manufacture’s Lollipop Chainsaw will be released in Europe on June 13, publisher Warner Bros has announced.
The date was announced at an event during GDC 2012, and the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 game will see the zombie-bashing exploits of cheerleader Juliet Starling see a US release one day earlier on July 12.
The action adventure game features the talents of Slither and Dawn of the Dead scriptwriter James Gunn and Silent Hill composer Akira Yamaoka alongside Suda 51’s direction.
“Juliet is such an anatomical extreme you’d probably confuse her for an hourglass if you had your contacts out, and the truth of the matter is you don’t even need to try very hard to get the upskirt view – Lollipop Chainsaw makes sure you’ll get a flash of her meticulously modelled behind with virtually every hop, leap, and jump,” wrote VideoGamer.com in our Lollipop Chainsaw preview.
