Ripten reports that Ryu, Chun-Li, Guile and Zangief will soon be making an appearance in Sony’s LittleBigPlanet with the release of Sackboy costumes based on the iconic Street Fighter II characters.
Images of the Street Fighter quartet were first spotted on Spanish community site PSN!, although the forum now reports that the images have been “taken down as requested by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe”.
There’s no confirmation from Sony, Media Molecule or Capcom, but Capcom has recently teased PS3 owners with exclusive content. Last month the Street Fighter II publisher stated: “Capcom will also have another “Little” Street Fighter surprise coming to the PSN soon.”
We wonder what that “Little” surprise could be. We’re waiting for comment from Sony.
