An “incredibly limited” number of LittleBigPlanet fans will be invited to join a LittleBigPlanet 3 beta next month, community manager Steven Isbell has revealed.
Posting on LBPCentral, Isbell explained that the private beta will be launching in August and that Sony had “hand-picked a small number of you brilliantly creative folks to participate”. Selected players will be contacted directly through LBPCentral, Isbell suggests, and “only a small number… will actually receive an invitation”.
The beta will be available on both PS3 and PS4 – and while Isbell has previously revealed that the game is heading to PS3, Sony has yet to formally announce the game’s last-gen SKU.
LittleBigPlanet 3 releases on PS4 this November. A PS3 date has yet to be confirmed.
