A playable demo of LittleBigPlanet 2 will be released for PS3 on December 22, 2010, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has announced.
The demo will let every PS3 owner get a taste of LittleBigPlanet 2’s new Story Mode levels, and some of the new gameplay types on offer.
Players will get to try out the Grapple Hook, rescue some helplessly adorable Sackbots, and take part in some score-based multiplayer action.
LittleBigPlanet 2 will be released for PS3 in January 2011.
Given the game’s delay from this winter into January 2011, it’s pretty decent damage prevention work from Sony and Media Molecule to ensure PS3 gamers can still be playing LittleBigPlanet 2 this Christmas, albeit a small sampler of the full product.
