Tarsier Studios' acclaimed pant-wetting hit Little Nightmares has sold over one million copies worldwide since its launch in April last year.

Little Nightmares follows Six, a young girl who finds herself trapped in a mysterious vessel known as the Maw. Hungry and alone, Six must overcome her fears, facing a ghastly gaggle of warped creatures and fiendish puzzles to make it out in one piece.

Aside from the main campaign, Little Nightmares was supported with three DLC packs: The Trio, The Hideaway, and The Residence. All this was bundled alongside the full game for the Complete Edition earlier this year.

'We’re very proud that our first original game sold so well, it’s well beyond what we ever expected,' commented Andreas Johnsson, CEO of Tarsider Studios.

'Little Nightmares is after all part of an indie game landscape, and the fact that one million players have played our game is wonderful. This achievement is a milestone for both Tarsier Studios and Little Nightmares. To have created an original game that becomes as successful is proof that the new direction for the studio was the right choice, and that feels great.'

If you haven't played Little Nightmares yet, then you're definitely missing out. Sort it out, eh?
