Fresh details of Playdead’s successor to Limbo have popped up online.
Mysterious Twitter sleuth Superannuation, who now writes for Kotaku, discovered the concept art below on a site belonging to the Danish Film Institute.
I can’t speak Danish, but supposedly the brief text description states that the game is a 2.5D platformer “in colour”. More intriguing is the plot blurb, which says we’ll get “the story of a boy’s struggle against evil forces trying to take over the world through questionable experiments on human bodies.”
The game is listed for PC, PS3, Xbox 360 and Mac.
Last July Playdead boss Dino Patti warned that his studio’s next game wouldn’t be ready for a while.
