Limbo will release worldwide on iOS on July 3, developer Playdead has announced.
The controls have been reworked for the touch-based devices, and there have been extensive optimisations to ensure a great experience, the developer says.
Limbo has previously released for Xbox 360, PS3, Steam, PS Vita and Mac, racking up over three million sales.
Limbo on iOS will cost $4.99 and is compatible with iPad 2 and higher, iPad mini, iPhone 4S and higher, and the latest generation of iPod touch.
