TT Games has announced that Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga has gone gold, ready for its launch in just over a month’s time.

It’s been a bit of a long road for the game, as we got first word of it all the way back in 2019. Encompassing the entire Star Wars cinematic saga has been no small task, and the game’s suffered a couple of delays along the way. (And of course, that pesky global pandemic can’t have helped.)

Regardless, this outing is an entirely new game from series veterans TT Games, and not just a repackaging of their older Lego Star Wars titles. Expect a galaxy’s worth of characters, vehicles and locations from all nine movies. You’ll be able to relive the saga from start to finish in block form, from The Phantom Menace all the way up to The Rise of Skywalker. There’s also nods to spin-off movies Rogue One and Solo, and Disney Plus series-es The Mandalorian and The Bad Batch.

Earlier this week, the team released a behind-the-scenes video for the game, which you can see for yourself down below. Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga arrives on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC on April 5.
