Warner Bros. is reportedly planning on giving two popular franchises the LEGO treatment, according to the latest internet rumblings on Comic Book. The first effort, supposedly titled LEGO Incredibles 2, will launch this summer and will tie-in with Pixar’s upcoming movie sequel.

Details are pretty thin on the ground right now, although considering this will be the first LEGO Incredibles game (not to mention the first LEGO title based on a Pixar series), then it’s conceivable the title will be recapping the events of the original superhero flick as well as covering its follow-up.

It’s worth mentioning that last August a number of LEGO Incredibles 2 merchandise was said to be in the pipeline, including a catalogue of items that mentioned an untitled video game based on a mystery Pixar property. This gives further credence to today’s reports, although an official word remains elusive.

Elsewhere, WB is also said to be chiselling away on a new LEGO title based on the iconic DC Big Bads. Again, details are scarce, although it’s believed the project – rumoured to be titled DC Supervillains or DC Villains – will feature the likes of Harley Quinn and The Joker. According to Comic Book’s sources, the game will launch within the next 12 months.

As expected, both titles are reportedly in development at TT Games, who have handled all the major LEGO games since it adapted Star Wars back in 2004. No platforms have been revealed, though we imagine it’ll be a multiplatform affair.

Again, nothing official has been announced by Warner or TT Games at present, so digest this all with a pinch of salt until we hear otherwise.
