Marvel Rivals Season 2 has wowed fans with its X-Men-centric theme, the Hellfire Gala, inspired by the historic Marvel Comics event. This season, set in the mutant paradise of Krakoa, has stunning skins, new maps such as Krakoa and Arakko, and a roster shake-up led by Emma Frost, who enters as a telepathic Vanguard.
The season’s narrative, steeped in mutant diplomacy and high fashion, sets the foundation for thrilling gameplay. Ultron has been confirmed as a Strategist hero for Season 2.5, which will be released soon. The Flower of Krakoa Battle Pass includes ten gorgeous costumes, while the Cerebro Database event teases more mutant lore, focusing on Cerebro, the mutant-detecting instrument.

Marvel Rivals Hellfire Gala Moments event leak reveals Professor X coming soon
Marvel Rivals leaker X0XLeak has shared an easter egg for the new Hellfire Gala Moments event with a text inscription. According to them, the inscription contains the text “xavier_files” and “Cerebro_3|Forge build” in yellow.
This further leads to speculation that the device Cerebro is used by Charles Xavier, a.k.a. Professor X, and in the past, he has been rumored to arrive in a future Rivals season. Furthermore, the character’s ability set and Cerebro spray have been spotted in the files by dataminers and leakers as well.
The latest Hellfire Gala Moments event also contains a “To Me, My X-Men” emote for Emma Frost that summons a Cerebro over her head, also hinting at Professor X’s arrival. The event also brings a free Wolverine costume that players can claim by completing all three acts.
