Lost Planet 3 will now be released across Europe on August 30, two months later than the previously communicated June 28 date, Capcom has announced.

No reason for the date change has been given.

Lost Planet 3 is being developed by Turning Point: Fall of Liberty creators Spark Unlimited and tells the story of Jim Peyton, a miner sent to E.D.N. III to prepare the planet for colonisation.

The game will be released for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
