Take-Two Interactive’s shares soared yesterday following the positive reviews for Rockstar and Team Bondi’s LA Noire. According to Gamasutra, shares closed at $17.10, which represented an increase of 7.75 per cent.

$17.10 is not only a 52-week high, but also the highest Take-Two’s shares have reached since rumours spread about EA acquiring the publisher in 2008 – when shares hit $27.

In Neon’s LA Noire review the game scored a masterful 10/10, confirming that Team Bondi’s extended development period on the title was well worth it. If positive review scores can give Take-Two this kind of share price increase, what will happen when GTA5 is announced?
