The Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess pre-order bonuses will help you get started in Capcom’s latest game. This new title blends strategy and action, putting you in control of Soh, the guardian of a shrine maiden. As Soh, you must try your best to clear your mountain home of a force called the defilement. The pre-order bonuses give you a bit of a headstart with some gear, so let’s look at how to get them.
Kunitsu-Gami pre-order bonuses
For pre-ordering the game, you will get the following bonus items: Mazo Talisman: Walking Basket, Mazo Talisman: Astral Projection, and the Artbook of Kunitsu-Gami. These three items are the same across all platforms, meaning you’ll always get them regardless of where you’ve pre-ordered the game.
- Mazo Talisman Walking Basket (gear for Soh, the main character)
- Mazo Talisman Astral Projection (gear for Soh, the main character)
- Artbook of Kunitsu-Gami (digital download)
These rewards are only available if you pre-order the game before its official release date. Once you pre-order the game, these items will be added to your download queue. Once the game goes live and you can play, you’ll be able to claim them in-game. Seeing as how we’re getting Talisman accessories for the main character, we can probably expect them to be overpowered for the early-game content, giving players a boost through the first few stages. Seeing as how this is a digital-only game, the artbook is being offered as a digital download.
If you want to try out the game before you commit to buying anything, you can play the demo that is currently available. The demo is available to download on PS5, Xbox, and PC. For previous games, Capcom has made a point to release any pre-order bonuses at a later date, giving those who didn’t get them a chance to obtain them as extra paid DLC. While this is only hinted to be the case on the game’s official page citing as such, we suspect this will be the case once the game has been out for a while.
Path of the Goddess will be released on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on July 19, 2024.
