Next year’s Mortal Kombat from Warner Interactive’s NetherRealm Studios will feature a karacter very familiar to PlayStation gamers.
According to an Official PlayStation Magazine story, the PS3 version of Mortal Kombat will feature God of War hero Kratos as a playable character. He’ll feature his own move set, arena and fatalities.

Kratos is a perfect fit for the Mortal Kombat franchise. We’d love to see him gouging out Scorpion’s eyes and ripping off Sub Zero’s head, after an epic battle on top of a titan.
If Kratos is going to feature in the PS3 version, then who can step up for the Xbox 360? We’re thinking either a locust from Gears of War, a covenant Elite from Halo, or if we’re going for a character whose name begins with K, how about Kazooie? Which character would you like to make an appearance?
