Hideo Kojima, the brains behind the Metal Gear franchise, may make an appearance at next week’s E3 via interview footage.
According to his Twitter, Kojima stated: “Since I decided not to go to E3, I made an interview video hastily.”
Additionally, last week he teased that several Kojima Productions announcements will be made on June 2, the day of Konami’s pre-E3 press conference.
Konami’s show will begin 5pm PST and will be live streamed at Konami.com.
Interestingly, Kojima hinted just last week that a game may have potentially been cancelled, stating it had “become meaningless”. Here’s hoping he wasn’t referring to Metal Gear Solid: Rising.
