It would appear that Hideo Kojima’s recent comments about returning to the Zone of the Enders series have rubbed off on his staff at Kojima Productions, many of whom are now desperate to work on the title.
“The reverberation has been bigger than imagined,” blogged Kojima.
Staff who worked on the first games have been stopping the Metal Gear creator on the elevator, in the office and out in restaurants in Tokyo, with one thought on their minds: can they be part of the Z.O.E. Team?
One particularly eager staff member has also printed out a Zone of the Enders poster and tacked it to his work area.
Despite the obvious excitement amongst Kojima Production’s staff, Kojima says we still have some waiting to do.
“No, no, a little longer,” Kojima wrote. “I want you to wait.”
