Hideo Kojima is now one step closer to making that movie he’s clearly always wanted, as Kojima Productions has opened a development studio in Los Angeles.
A job posting on Gamasutra (spotted via CVG) shows that the new studio is currently on the prowl for an environment artist, character artist, gameplay programmer, cinematic artist, concept artist, game level designer, lighting artist, tools programmer and animator.
Between them this new team shall be working on producing “the core foundation of 3D action game”, which in Kojima Productions probably means the longest cutscenes in the history of mankind.
Earlier this month Kojima Productions unveiled Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes, a spin-off with open world elements. Catch the reveal trailer below.
