Koch Media has announced World Snooker Championship Season 2007-08 for Nintendo DS and promises to bring the complete Snooker and Pool experience to the dual screen handheld.

Developed by Blade Interactive, the game will enable players to take part in the full professional snooker tour, attempting to win the trophy at all ten events, with the ultimate goal to win the World Championship. Players can choose from a host of real life pros, each with their own true-to-life attributes.

If snooker isn’t you thing then you’ll also be able to partake in Pool and a host of snooker mini-games, ideal for quick sessions.

The game also features full commentary delivered by John Virgo, Steve Davis and John Parrott, helping to bring the real snooker atmosphere to the DS.

Visually the game is shaping up nicely and thanks to the dual screen players will benefit from always having an overhead and 3D view of the action.

World Snooker Championship Season 2007-08 is scheduled for release on Nintendo DS on October 26.
