Dodgeball arena game Knockout City‘s second season has been revealed by EA, with Fight at the Movies kicking off on July 22.

The new season was announced during last night’s EA Play Live and is, as the title suggests, based around the theme of cinema. It’s headlined by a new map called the Holowood Drive-In which changes between various movie genres. One minute you’ll be dodging balls across a rose-petal strewn bridge, another sees you traversing rooftops in a gothic horror. There’s also some Egyptian pyramids and even an oversized child’s bedroom, why not?

Another new addition this season will be an all new ball in the form of the Soda Ball. Successfully striking an opponent obscures their view in sticky soda for a few seconds, leaving them ripe for a follow-up. On top of this are a bunch of new cosmetics, Crew Vehicles and new Playlists and Contracts and more.

Get your eyes on the Fight at the Movies trailer for Knockout City‘s second season below. It lands on July 22 on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC. As a reminder, the game is also free-to-play up to Street Rank 25.
