Blueside today announced plans to release Kingdom Under Fire II on Xbox 360, allowing console gamers to conquer the Bersia continent with a new generation of heroes.
A blend of action and real-time strategy, Kingdom Under Fire II promises to redefine the meaning of massive in-game battles, with thousands of on-screen soldiers engaging in intense combat. The game will feature over 100 different unit types, with players being tasked with controlling both the hero characters and the troops.
A new tactical element has also been introduced outside of the battles, managing troops via an electronic card game system.
The Xbox 360 version will also see a focus on the single-player game, with players putting themselves in the shoes of heroes and reuniting the scattered nations in a deep and rich storyline. 360 gamers will also be able to take the action online, with large-scale Castle Siege battles playable over Xbox LIVE.
Post release Blueside plans to support the game with various DLC allowing players to boost stats and personalise characters.
Kingdom Under Fire II is also in development for PC.
