Square Enix has announced that Kingdom Hearts 3 will launch on January 29, 2019.
Obviously this puts the Disney-RPG sequel out a bit later than we had hoped for, as it was initially pegged for a 2018 launch.
Still, it's good to finally have a date; Kingdom Hearts 3 was announced almost five years ago to the day, so it's been a long time coming.
Kingdom Hearts 3 director Tetsuya Nomura commented, 'I’m sorry that we’re asking for a little more time than initially planned. Please look forward to other information, including a few trailers at E3.'
Kingdom Hearts 3 will be released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
