Square Enix's Tetsuya Nomura has issued a statement in wake of Kingdom Hearts 3 spoilers leaking onto the web, after early copies of the upcoming Disney-RPG found their way into select hands over the weekend.

Nomura-san requested than those who have access to spoilers do not post them online, and confirmed that Kingdom Hearts 3's epilogue and 'secret movie' will be locked until after the game launches in late January.

He also expressed his thanks to fans that have been warning each other of spoilers online, as not to ruin the experience for anyone.

Kingdom Hearts 3 is scheduled for release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on January 29, 2019, and the intro is now reading and waiting for you to view. Sony is also launching a special Kingdom Hearts-themed PS4 Pro alongside the game at launch.
