It seems a bit early to be talking about what’s coming after the release of PS3 Killzone, but an article in newspaper de Volksrant has revealed that we can look forward to new chapters to be released in downloadable chunks, post release.

The article also states that the game’s development costs are likely to exceed EUR 16m, which is more than it cost to make Paul Verhoeven’s Dutch film Black Book, the most expensive film in Dutch cinema.

Our budget tops [the film],” said Killzone director Arjan Brussee. “We’re working on the biggest multimedia project in Dutch history.

Around 120 people are confirmed to be working on the game, which according to recent comments made by Sony World Wide Studios boss Phil Harrison is, in some areas, already exceeding what was seen in the infamous E3 2005 trailer.
