A screenshot which appears to show split-screen co-op in Killzone 3 has made its way onto the internet.
The off-screen shot shows characters Sev and Nakto facing each other, with the screen split vertically down the middle.
Sony had no comment on the presence of co-op play.
Killzone 3 is scheduled for release in February 2011.
While the picture doesn’t show any sign of online co-op, the presence of split-screen on a single system would suggest Killzone 3 will also feature online co-op, which could also enable more than two players to take part.
